Jennifer Preston

Jennifer Preston, M.A., LMFT


Jennifer is a co-founder of Core Conditions. She offers a well balanced background of education and experience in the field of mental health. She holds a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology. She has over 15 years of experience working with severely emotionally disturbed children and families. Jennifer has previously worked for FamiliesFirst, Inc and group homes for both adolescent females and latency age males. She received training through an array of programs including: Grande Rhonde Child Center (day treatment program specializing in treatment of physical/sexual abuse); Shelter From The Storm (domestic violence), and The Center for Parenting Excellence (promotion of education, care, and nurturance for teenage mothers and their infants).

Jad Turner

Jad Turner, M.A., LMFT

Program Director

Jad is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and co-founder of Core Conditions Inc. Jad has previously worked for Valley Group Homes, Fresno County Probation Department and FamiliesFirst, Inc. He has over 15 years experience working with severely emotionally disturbed children and adolescents. He holds a BS in Criminology and an MA in Counseling Psychology. He is currently a fourth year Doctoral student working towards a Ph.D in Psychology. Jad has extensive training in child, adolescent and play therapy. He is eclectic in his theoretical orientation and also offers biofeedback for the treatment of stress related disorders.

Curtis Donovan

Curtis Donovan, M.B.A.

Executive Director

Curtis is a co-founder of Core Conditions, Inc. His previous residential experience includes Valley Group Homes and DN Associates. He has also worked at the Elkhorn Correctional Facility, a juvenile boot camp operated by the Fresno County Probation Department. Most recently he worked at the West Park Charter Academy where he spent 8 years as a teacher in their independent study program serving at-risk youth on a 1:1 basis. While at West Park he also served as Vice President of the programs Advisory Council. Overall he has over 14 years experience working with at-risk and severly emotionally disturbed adolescents. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Criminology, A Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Organizational Leadership.
