Each applicant is carefully screened by our Program Director/Intake Coordinator Jad Turner. Previous treatment records, reports, and consultations with those individuals who can provide additional information are reviewed prior to a placement decision. A personal interview with the adolescent is strongly encouraged.
Admissions are coordinated during regular business hours, however after hours and emergency placements can be made 24 hours a day/7 days a week by contacting the intake coordinator (based on bed availability). It is highly advisable to call to determine space availability and to set an appointment time for potential placement interviews.
Residents in our programs are typically dealing with a variety of problems. These include:
- History of abuse
- Self-destructive behaviors
- Aggression
- Impulsivity
- Substance Abuse
- Family difficulties
- Depression
- Anxiety Disorders
- Disruptive Behaviors
- Failed Placements
Most residents stay an average of 6 – 24 months, although this can be adjusted for each individual’s particular needs.
