David Fox, M.D., is Board Certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University in 1962 with a degree in Social Relations, and cum laude from Yale University School of Medicine in 1966. He completed his internship in Pediatrics and Child Development at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and did his psychiatric residency and fellowship at the Massachusetts Mental Health Center. He was on the faculty of Harvard Medical School from 1973-1977, and since 1977 has been a Professor of Psychiatry with the University of California at San Francisco. His professional experience is extensive, serving as the Associate Chief of Psychiatry at Valley Medical Center, and the Medical Director of the Renaissance Adolescent Center for Clovis Community Hospital, and was the director of Child and Adolescent Services at Cedar Vista Hospital. He also served as the Director of Psychiatric Training at Valley Children’s Hospital for 18 years. Dr. Fox is also a consultant to the California State Diagnostic School for Neurologically Handicapped Children. He holds certifications in Psychiatry-Neurology, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Fox is the author of numerous publications.

She holds a B.S. in Applied Psychology with a minor in Chemical Dependency Counseling as well as a M.S. in Marital and Family Therapy from Loma Linda University. Laura has over 16 years of combined experience working in outpatient, inpatient, and school-based psychotherapy and substance abuse counseling centers. Anthony has provided psychotherapy to at-risk youth since 2014, working in both community-based services (Uplift Family Services) and school-based counseling (On-Site Counseling Program). Anthony has also worked as a Lifeline Counselor through the Trevor Project. Anthony provides a full-spectrum of mental health services to include assessments, individual, group, and family therapy.

She holds a B.S. in Business Administration, an M.S. in Counseling and Student Services, an M.S. in Psychology, and an M.S., in Counseling–Marriage, Family & Child Therapy. Marissa has experience working in a wide variety of psychotherapy settings with children and adolescents, to include Rape Counseling Services, school-based therapy, and residential treatment. She provides trauma-informed care and is well versed in art and play therapy.

Kyle began employment with our organization in 2016. He has over five years of experience working with severely emotionally disturbed children, adolescents, and families. He is also a certified STRTP Administrator, certified Pro-Act Instructor, and an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. Kyle is currently in the process of obtaining EMDR certification in order to be able to offer this approach to our trauma impacted youth. Kyle also facilitates a weekly, evidence-based, anger control group. He holds a B.S. degree in Criminology–Forensics and Behavioral Sciences and an M.S. in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling.

Shari, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, has spent over 30 years working in the Mental Health field. She received her B.S. in Education and Psychology, as well as a Secondary Teaching Credential, from the University of Michigan and her M.S. in Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy from California State University, Fresno. Shari has extensive experience in art and play therapy and in the treatment of trauma. She is currently the Clinical Program Supervisor for Resource Center for Survivors (RCS) (formerly Rape Counseling Services) where she supervises and trains novice therapists. Shari provided group therapy for CCI for many years, but now primarily focuses on conducting trainings on various mental health topics for CCI and DNA staff members.

David has provided substance abuse services to the youth of our organization for the past 20 years. David is also the Executive Director for Youth OPS, a non-profit community youth development corporation he founded in 2003. He is also is the Adolescent Treatment Supervisor for Fresno New Connections Substance Abuse Services. David began his work in prevention in 1989 with John Jay College in Queens New York. He has attended Hampton University and Teacher’s College at Columbia University. In 1995, David was hired as a Prevention Specialist for Fresno New Connections (FNC) and was lead staff for numerous community prevention services and activities. In 1998, David was hand-picked by Kings View Corporation to run its county-wide Friday Night Live Youth Development Program. David has been asked to speak at numerous colleges, schools, and communities on various approaches and techniques in youth development. David has also provided trainings on youth development to the Fresno Parks and Recreation Dept., Boys and Girls Clubs, various community based organizations, schools and churches.

Daniel has been a Certified Drug & Alcohol Counselor II through the CAARR Institute since the year 2000. He is an evidence-based gang interventionist and gang expert, keynote speaker, trainer, and consultant. He has removed over 60 tattoos from his own body. He has over over 20 years of experience in the human service field and has provided over 17,000 clinical hours to patients.
Eric Rollins

Eric is a certified yoga teacher through the teacher training program of the White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbara CA . He has been teaching yoga since 2002 in the Fresno area. Eric has also studied with master yoga teachers Annie Carpenter and Max Strom. This experience made the mind body connection his main focus. The mind-body connection allows you to be in moment letting go of the past and the future. We spend so much of our lives riding an emotional roller coaster consumed by stress. Yoga teaches you to find a balance in life. Eric provides weekly yoga classes for adults and youth.
